Taylor Farms of Dallas, Texas, is recalling 13.4-ounce bags of H-E-B Backyard BBQ Chop Salad sold at H-E-B stores in Texas. The affected kits have a best-by date of October 30, 2026, and UPC code 041220300457.

The salad kits may contain undeclared soy and tree nuts, specifically almonds. Both are major food allergens. People with sensitivities or allergies to either ingredient risk serious adverse reactions, including skin reactions, digestive problems, swelling, trouble breathing, or in severe cases, anaphylaxis.

No adverse reactions have been reported to date. Consumers should not eat the recalled salad and should dispose of it or return it to the store for a full refund. Taylor Farms can be reached Monday through Friday at 855-455-0098 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. PST for questions.

This is the second food safety issue for Taylor Farms this year. Earlier, a Cyclospora outbreak linked to iceberg lettuce processed by Taylor Farms de Mexico sickened thousands of people across the country.
